We call it the Rocker Pump because one person rocking back and forth is all of the effort that's required to pump water. And with only that much effort the Rocker Pump will pump 5 gallons or 20 liters of water per minute. It can draw water up from 10 feet below and pump it out to 40 feet or 15 meters.
The baffels which do the work are the most likely part to wear out and need replacement. Here you see new baffels being fashioned out of an old truck inner tube.
Crops and cattle won't have to suffer waiting on expensive parts from China. An old inner tube and some simple tools will make the necessary repairs possible almost anywhere.
