We're Going to Zambia!

We plan to build and distribute 105 of our award winning Universal Nut Shellers to farmers in the surrounding villages to help them increase their food supply and incomes!

We need your help! With materials already on their way, our private sector partner had to back out at the last minute due to a financial crisis in Zambia. Now, with close to $10,000 already invested in the project, this tiny nonprofit with an equally tiny budget is pushing forward to honor our mission and the people of Zambia.

Jock's Return!

Jock has returned from his trip to Nairobi, Kenya where he presented his research on aflatoxin to the world's leading aflatoxin researchers at the Integrated Nutrition Conference earlier this month. Jock shared that one of the highlights from his trip was doing a demonstration showing how aflatoxin testing can be done anywhere, even without electricity or refrigeration. With the potential to stunt growth and development in children, aflatoxin is a harmful bacteria found on a variety of nuts and grains. This latest update in aflatoxin research has the potential to make a huge impact on communities around the world. Keep an eye out for more stories and pictures from Jock's trip!

Full Belly Celebrates Success!

Thank you to everyone who came out to Whole Foods last Friday to donate their plastic grocery bags. Hundreds of grocery bags were collected, allowing Full Belly to make more bag board. Bag board is an incredibly versatile building material, so keep an eye out on our Facebook page, as well as our website, to see how we transform your grocery bags into sustainable items.

And remember, we are continuing to collect grocery bags in front of Whole Foods. Just look for the wooden box in front of the store!
